In most long-established businesses, the CEO of an organization wears many hats and is the go-to person when it comes to the creation and executing of company strategy. While this process has worked for many organizations, there is sometimes a need to delegate these important tasks to another C-level exec that can make it their main focus; and that person is the Chief Strategy Officer.
The need to refine a strategy at a moment’s notice and make sure everything goes as planned is a crucial part of any brand’s growth. Because of this, there has been a significant increase in the addition of executives that handle these roles in an organization, whether that is their official title or not. These execs are essentially the most trusted advisors of the CEO since their insight and expertise are so influential to the current and future state of a business!
A CSO’s ability to make sure that the strategy of their company is being acted on at every level is what makes them a necessary addition of an organization! Is there a C-level executive (other you’re your CEO) responsible for the creation and execution of your organizational strategy?
